I Started out the day with 5 hours straight of lectures and tutorials which really puts a damper on my leisure time. But oh well someone has to do it I guess J I got back from class at 5 and had a half an hour of sun tanning/ homework time then off to dinner. After Dinner I sat in the courtyard and chatted with a group for about two hours which was delightful, played some ping pong and then I went to see Bucket List at the movies because it was cheap Tuesday (though even Tuesday isn’t that cheap.) I saw some really interesting ads in my media class today if you want to check them out on you tube you might enjoy them. Search for “Qantas, I still call Australia Home,” “Where the Bloody Hell are you?” (Make sure to check out the originals and not all of the spoofs that have been done) Just to give you a hint of all that I am learning. I actually think this semester might be fairly difficult because I am learning in some cases 100% new stuff. I have no background knowledge to fall back on. When I am asked a question I don’t have passed conversations, or past readings, or even television to fall back on. Because they didn’t quite teach us about Australia’s political system, prime ministers or history in America’s education system.
