Sunday was the Senior Salute for the graduating seniors at Westwood Baptist Church. It was a lovely picnic themed lunch with a stellar coordinating crew. They asked me to be the guest speaker. I was quite shocked by the request but also excited. My job was to encourage these seniors to seek out community and ways to continue to pursue their faith as they enter a new chapter in their lives. It was the first time I have spoken to a large audience as formal speaker and it went really well. Overall, it was a wonderful success and I hope that it was a blessing and encouragement to the graduating seniors.
