January 25,2005 Xi Chi Psi

We all wear a little to much black

We went out to support Mikey as he pledged Xi Chi Psi. The getting dressed up was the funnest part but he liked having us there so it was worth it. But we didn't last long.

January 24,2008 Crazy Ohio Weather

Ohio's weather has been pretty crazy in January. These are the icicles hanging off of Hider Home's third story. The other shots are on my way to Wadsworth to get my braces tightened.

January 16,2008 Shinning As Stars

Mike and Tommy have Clap and Scream on the back of their guitars.
Ben got really hot so he took of his shirt which shows how uncomfortable it was for him because he wears his shirt when he goes down to the shower.
We "The Shinning As Stars Groupies" drove to North Canton to see Ben's final concert before he goes to South Africa. It was sweet! They did a great job! The only thing was we felt a little out of place... It was all these Emo High School kids that showed us how we just are not crazy enough. Our jeans weren't tight enough, our hair not dyed, and our eye make up not intense enough.

January 13, 2008 Suprise Birthday Celebrations

It was Lauren's 21st Birthday and we missed Sarah's over break so we had a suprise celebration. Ben made the cake which was a learning process. (He didn't have the patience to wait for it to cool before frosting) But it was still good. We got them Mosquito netting because they are both going to Botswana over Spring Break

Early January in Olympia, WA

After all of the crazy snow we had in Washington we had lots of flooding! These photos are on the way to grandma and grandpas house and this is what we saw. These photos are actually on the way back home so the water went down quite a bit. The house with the sandbags around it had water everywhere the driveway, garage and yard were full.

December 31- January 2 Trollhaugen, A Wonderful Tradition

In the parking lot on the way into trollhaugen

The boys made an intense igloo that withstood all of them jumping on it.

We lost the electric for about 12 hours on our first day at the lodge which made for an interesting experience. Dinner was made in a wood burning stove which we were very thankful for that and lots of headlamps.

The boys working on the Igloo. The power was out inside so they might as well use their headlamps productively

Alyssa and I going down Suicide.
Our whole Trollhaugen Family blood related and not.

New Years Eve Traditions
They don't all fit onto the couch like they use to.
Playing the Family Game
Unloading all of our food and gear out of the snow cat and the sleigh
Snowshoeing up to the ridge
There was so much powder the guys rotated blazing the trail through all of the fresh powder.
Markus, Jordan and Adam went over the fallen tree instead of around it like the rest of us. This is the pickle of powder they ended up in.
