I am waiting patiently to find out about what my near future holds. While I do not particularly enjoy waiting it is a good growing exercise. I should find out this week whether I get the ministry postion/job I applied for in Colorado.
Today I turned in my theory chapter for my Jr. Independent Study. It is so nice to turn something in and have it not be ripped to shreds. While it needs some corrections (which is to be expected it is a first draft) it is overall good which was so exciting to hear. But it is right back to the grind stone. I have a paper due tomorrow. It is now 12:10 am and I am about 3 pages in we will see how it goes. After this though I have nothing due till after Spring Break. However, I will have to be productive over break because there is so much do that first week back. I think I am getting to the saturation point. Where I can fondly look into the future of being done for awhile with formal learning that requires certain readings and Wooster's love for "critical thinking" and not be saddened. While I don't like the idea of leaving all of the wonderful friends I have made I am getting to the point where I can see the future outside of College. To bad Wooster's Senior year is the hardest. I am beginning to think that if you put in your four years you should get your fifth year free to just hang out be semi productive and enjoy the friendships you have made. I know that isn't quite how it works in life but wouldn't it be nice?
I should probably stop procrastinating and get back to my paper but it is nice to focus on the future when I am not enjoying the present. (I have only not been enjoying the last 3 hours I have spent staring at my computer screen, not anything beyond that)

I kind of think that going into a field you love is kind of like a freedom to live pass for the rest of your life....especially in ministry, because it's something that ought to flow from us no matter what we're doing. Going on Staff basically means I get to do InterVarsity things professionally (well, that's exactly what it is) and get a discount on IVP stuff......it doesn't get better than that.
most people don't view waiting as a verb! (But it is!)
Just like indecision is actually deciding not to decide!
