August 8, 2010- Seafair Weekend

Seafair weekend is a big deal in Seattle. The Blue Angels come and they put on a great show. This year the weather was not cooperating so they had to do the 'low' show though we all think it could have been classified as the super low show. It felt like the planes were flying 100 ft over our heads.

This year we witnessed the show from the 'sea' The family went out on Lake Washington to enjoy the show. Sitting in a boat for a couple hours without the motor running and other boats not obeying the no wake rule made for some green people but it still was a lovely afternoon.


 

My cousin and I started out on the jet ski but it was way to choppy so we tied it to the boat and climbed on board with the rest of the fam.On the way back to the dock we hit a wall of water created by all the boats so we were freezing. But then the neighbor lost these items off his boat so we hoped in and rescued them with our full body wetsuits and booties.
