March 16, 2010- A Working Spring Break

For part of Spring Break I headed out to Andrew and Kristina's house. While I was there they had several trees fallen so that we could clean them up and get rid of them. We made lots of trips to dump the branches. It really made me appreciate and miss the dump trailer. They also got baby chickens. They are raising them on the farm for eggs and meat.

Apparently it is normal for chicks to come through the united States Mail. We went to the post office to pick them up and we could hear them chirping in the back room.

These guys were quite the sight as they climbed the trees, repelled down, jumped to the next tree. Of course they were tied down but it was more gutsy then most professions.

We spent time at the farm taking care of the horses. Here is Andrew with his horse Luke
