December 31- January 2 Trollhaugen, A Wonderful Tradition

In the parking lot on the way into trollhaugen

The boys made an intense igloo that withstood all of them jumping on it.

We lost the electric for about 12 hours on our first day at the lodge which made for an interesting experience. Dinner was made in a wood burning stove which we were very thankful for that and lots of headlamps.

The boys working on the Igloo. The power was out inside so they might as well use their headlamps productively

Alyssa and I going down Suicide.
Our whole Trollhaugen Family blood related and not.

New Years Eve Traditions
They don't all fit onto the couch like they use to.
Playing the Family Game
Unloading all of our food and gear out of the snow cat and the sleigh
Snowshoeing up to the ridge
There was so much powder the guys rotated blazing the trail through all of the fresh powder.
Markus, Jordan and Adam went over the fallen tree instead of around it like the rest of us. This is the pickle of powder they ended up in.
